If you want to hear the turbo release between shifts or when you lift off the throttle, the SXTH AV6 replaces the quiet factory bypass valve with a true atmospheric blow-off valve. It gives compatible Hyundai and Kia Smartstream turbo models a clean, sharp blow-off sound without using a spacer on the factory valve.
The compact valve body is machined from billet 6061 aluminum and uses a lightweight brass piston for quick response. It bolts in place of the original bypass valve, uses the factory gasket and comes with the new hardware and vacuum line needed for installation.

How the AV6 Changes the Turbo Sound
The factory bypass valve routes released boost pressure back into the intake, which keeps it quiet. The AV6 vents that pressure to the atmosphere instead, giving you the blow-off valve sound when you let off the throttle or shift under boost. AV stands for atmospheric valve.

Installation
The AV6 replaces the factory bypass valve and reuses the original valve gasket. SXTH includes new mounting hardware and a vacuum line, so no separate blow-off valve adapter or spacer is needed. The installation is completely reversible if you ever want to reinstall the factory valve.
