Collection: TEIN Coilovers - Street Basis Z, Advanced Z and Flex Z

TEIN Coilovers come in a few various specs.  TEIN Street Basis Z coilovers are the entry level basic coilover that is height adjustable but not dampening adjustable or has upper plates.  TEIN Street Advanced Z Coilovers are just like Basis Z Coilovers but have dampening or shock adjustability.  TEIN Flex Z Coilovers take it a step higher and offer top plates over the Advanced Z.

A breakdown of TEIN coilovers tailored to different driving needs:

  • Street Basis Z: These entry-level basic coilovers are designed for comfortable street use, providing height adjustment to lower your vehicle while maintaining ride comfort. They reuse the factory top mounts and do not offer damping adjustment
  • Street Advance Z: Building upon the TEIN Basis Z coilovers, the Street Advance Z coilovers include 16 level damping force adjustment, allowing drivers to fine-tune ride quality and handling characteristics. Like the Basis Z, they utilize the OEM top mounts.
  • Flex Z: Aimed at enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance, the TEIN Flex Z coilovers feature independent ride height and preload adjustment, 16 level damping force adjustment, and comes with new upper mounts, including camber adjustment plates for applicable models. This setup offers greater flexibility for both street and occasional track use.

The TEIN Street Basis Z coilover is ideal for those seeking a cost-effective suspension lowering solution, the TEIN Street Advance Z coilover adds damping adjustability for improved ride customization, and the TEIN Flex Z coilover provides comprehensive adjustability and performance features for more demanding applications.  If you're still not sure what's right for you, contact our Redline360 suspension experts, we'd be glad to help!
