- All New Optics: Enables light output that exceeds the rigorous standards of the IIHS, with exceptional intensity and distribution. Both models utilize the same dual Bi-LED projectors, but the XRGB Evo includes the added benefit of a D-optic high beam assist, whereas the XB Evo Hybrid does not. Also unique to the XRGB Evo model is additional low beam output width from integrated "side-shooter" LEDs.
- DOT Compliant: Whereas the premium XRGB headlight's color-changing DRL negates compliance, the XB Evo Hybrid offer nearly all the performance but is designed for on road use at a lower price point. Their aim can be fine-tuned with integrated vertical adjusters..
- DRL and Signals: The XB Evo Hybrid features an incredibly bright white LED Daytime Running light and equally impressive amber LED turn signals with fade-off effect operating through the same set of uniquely shaped optics along the bottom. The XRGB Evo features unique function selectors that allow you to choose between white and amber DRL (when the RGB is off) and how the turn signal blinks using a simple plug and play key on the back of the housings. Additionally, the XRGB Evo's integrated Bluetooth controlled RGB function allows any color DRL you can imagine, along with a variety of show modes.

The all-new 370Z XB Evo Hybrid and XRGB Evo headlights are a showcase of everything Morimoto is made of, packed with features that demonstrate true attention to detail including the latest in technology, quality, and styling. Thanks to an all-new generation of Morimoto Bi-LED projectors, both models will meet & exceed the highest standards for headlight performance that are set by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety—which is a tough mark even for most modern luxury automakers. Regardless of which model you go for, Morimoto is proud to stand behind the product with an industry-leading five-year warranty supported and serviced by their Atlanta, GA headquarters.
The premium XRGB Evo model is packed with customizable features that come alive when you start your Z, initiating a multi-stage welcome sequence throughout the DRL and projectors. With an integrated Morimoto XBT Bluetooth controller, the DRL color can be changed via your Android or iOS phone remotely, whereas the switchback turn signal function can be customized using simple integrated keys on the back of the housing. However, because these lights have RGB color-changing DRLs, they are not suitable for on-road use in North America.
By contrast, the XB Evo Hybrid drops the fancy extra features of the premium XRGB Evo model to deliver performance at a lower tier. It omits the D-optic high beam assist, the welcome sequence, the DRL/turn signal function selectors, and the RGB color-changing DRLs. Instead, the Hybrid offers a standard white DRL, a fade-off turn signal, and a gloss black interior, making it packed with compliance while retaining the core performance of the Evo lineup
