Freedom Off-Road control arms are built to address one of the biggest problems that comes with lifting a truck: changing the suspension geometry. With a 1–3" lift, the factory control arm angles can move away from their ideal position. These tubular control arms bring the ball joint angle back into a more favorable range, helping maintain alignment and suspension travel while adding the strength needed for lifted driving. The 1.5" tubing, reinforced gussets, brake/ABS provisions, and replaceable hardened rubber bushings make these a serious upgrade over basic factory-style components.

The big decision comes down to the joint. The Standard Joint Version uses a heavy-duty, greaseable, and replaceable chromoly OE-style ball joint, making it a practical choice for dependable everyday use and straightforward serviceability. The Uni-Ball Version swaps that traditional joint for a 1.5" stainless steel uniball, giving the suspension greater articulation and reducing the binding associated with OE-style ball joints. The Uni-Ball version also gets a laser-etched billet cover for added protection and easy servicing.
