Freedom Offroad Suspension, Lift Kits & Control Arms

If you’ve spent any time on the trails, you know that a lift kit is only half the battle. The real headache starts when your factory ball joints start popping or your alignment won't stay true because the geometry is out of whack. That’s exactly where Freedom Offroad shines, and why we keep them in heavy rotation here at Redline360.

Freedom Offroad is built for the guy who needs his truck to handle a weekend of washboards and rock crawling without falling apart on the Monday morning commute. Their Upper Control Arms (UCAs) are legendary for a reason—they feature corrected ball joint angles specifically designed for 2-4" lifts, giving you back the suspension travel and alignment specs you lost.

We also know how many of you are dealing with failing factory air suspensions on your Ram, Lexus, or GM trucks. Freedom Offroad’s Air-to-Coil Conversion Kits are the ultimate "set it and forget it" fix, replacing those leaky bags with reliable, heavy-duty coil springs. Whether you’re building an overlander for long-haul reliability or a weekend wheeler, Freedom Offroad offers that rare mix of heavy-duty tubular steel and affordable pricing. Upgrade your rig at Redline360 and stop worrying about your suspension geometry.

If you're in Northern California we can get this installed for you, aligned and set up for your needs.  Contact us for installation information.

Freedom Offroad Suspension FAQs

Are Freedom Offroad Upper Control Arms (UCAs) required for a lift?

While not always strictly required for small leveling kits, they are highly recommended for any lift over 2 inches. Factory control arms aren't designed for the increased angles of a lift kit, which often leads to premature ball joint wear and alignment issues. Freedom Offroad UCAs feature corrected pivot angles to restore your suspension geometry and improve overall travel.

Do Freedom Offroad air suspension conversion kits trigger dashboard lights?

Most Freedom Offroad kits are designed to be a direct mechanical replacement for failing air bags. Depending on your specific vehicle—like the Ram 1500 or GX470—you may need to pull a fuse or use a bypass module to turn off warning lights. These kits provide a much more reliable, "set-it-and-forget-it" coil spring ride compared to expensive factory air systems.

What kind of maintenance do the ball joints require?

Most Freedom Offroad control arms come with heavy-duty, greaseable ball joints. To get the longest life out of them, especially if you’re off-roading in muddy or dusty conditions, we recommend greasing them at every oil change. This flushes out contaminants and keeps the suspension moving smoothly and quietly.

Will Freedom Offroad parts affect my factory ride quality?

In many cases, it actually improves it. Because Freedom Offroad parts are engineered to correct the geometry that gets messed up during the lifting process, your truck will often feel more planted and predictable. The heavy-duty tubular steel construction also reduces flex compared to thin, factory stamped-steel arms.
