How It Compares to the MAD and IRL Skid Plates
The Bull Boost plate does the same basic job as the MAD and IRL oil cooler guards, but the construction is different. The MAD and IRL plates are made from aluminum, while this Bull Boost version is made from carbon fiber.

Product Description
This plate makes sense if you were already looking at the MAD or IRL guard but wanted something other than aluminum underneath the car. Carbon fiber is the main reason to choose the Bull Boost version. It keeps the skid plate lightweight and gives the underside of the car a finished look that works well with other carbon fiber parts.
The oil cooler sits low and takes a lot of exposure from the road, especially once the car is lowered. Adding a guard gives rocks and road debris something to hit before they reach the cooler itself.
