BOOST Products Exhaust Flex Pipe Section Interlock 304 Stainless Weld-On - 1.5" to 4"

Add some movement to a custom exhaust or downpipe without putting all that stress into the welds, turbo flange or exhaust manifold. This weld-in flex pipe from BOOST Products uses a four-layer stainless steel design with an interlock liner that keeps the inside of the pipe smooth while still allowing the exhaust to move as the engine shifts and the piping expands from heat.

The entire flex section is made from 304 stainless steel, including the gas-tight spiral wall and internal reinforcement. It can be used in naturally aspirated exhaust systems, high-horsepower turbo builds and supercharged applications. It can also handle the heat of being installed in a downpipe close to the turbocharger.

Fitment Note

This is a weld-in fabrication part, not a clamp-on exhaust repair sleeve. Match the outside diameter of the flex pipe to the outside diameter of your exhaust tubing.

Make sure there is enough room for the selected overall length and that the flex section is installed without being stretched, compressed or forced out of alignment.

Why Use an Interlock Flex Pipe?

Engine movement and heat expansion can put a lot of stress into a rigid exhaust system, especially when the exhaust is mounted directly to a turbocharger. Adding a flex section gives the piping room to move and helps reduce the load placed on welds, flanges, manifolds and turbo housings.

The interlock liner also gives the inside of the flex pipe a smoother path than an exposed braided flex section. That makes it a good choice for higher-flow exhaust systems where durability and clean exhaust flow both matter.
