Run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two in your 5.3L Yukon XL or Suburban without loading a different tune every time the ethanol content changes. The Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex DXI reads the fuel mixture in real time and adjusts injector operation so the EcoTec3 V8 can use whatever blend is actually in the tank.
No ECU unlock or additional tune is required on a stock SUV or one running a compatible gasoline tune. Advanced Fuel Dynamics reports gains of approximately 40 to 45 wheel horsepower when running E85, along with more torque and cooler engine, oil and coolant temperatures. Results will vary depending on the ethanol blend, vehicle condition and modifications.

Fitment Note
This kit only fits models equipped with the factory 5.3L EcoTec3 V8. It does not fit the 6.2L V8 or 3.0L Duramax diesel.
This is the long-wheelbase Yukon XL and Suburban kit. Standard-wheelbase GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe models use a different Advanced Fuel Dynamics kit.
Fitment is determined by the engine, not the trim level. Check the engine listed on the vehicle before ordering.
How the ProFlex DXI Works
The ethanol-content sensor measures the actual mixture of gasoline and ethanol passing through the fuel system. The ProFlex DXI uses that reading to electronically adjust injector operation for the current blend.
You can fill the SUV with gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two. There are no buttons to push, maps to change or separate gasoline and E85 tunes to load. AFD's BlendSense technology checks the fuel mixture every 30 milliseconds and makes the required adjustments as the ethanol content changes.

Optional Bluetooth Monitoring
The ProFlex DXI manages the fuel blend automatically without a phone or separate gauge. Add the Advanced Fuel Dynamics FlexLink module if you also want to see ethanol content and fuel temperature through the ProFlex Connect app on an Apple or Android phone.
Fuel System Requirements
The ProFlex DXI adjusts injector operation, but it does not increase fuel-pump or injector capacity. Stock and mildly modified 5.3L SUVs can use the kit as designed, but higher-horsepower and forced-induction setups need enough low-side and high-side fuel flow for E85.
AFD recommends a dedicated E85 or flex-fuel tune for aftermarket supercharger packages that already run the factory direct-injection system near its limit. Larger injectors or upgraded fuel pumps may also be required depending on the setup.
Installation Information
AFD advertises installation at approximately 15 minutes with common tools. Most of the system uses vehicle-specific plug-in connections, but one connector pin must be installed inline with an existing wire. We recommend professional installation if you are not comfortable working with automotive connector pins.
Emissions Information
The ProFlex DXI does not remove or replace emissions equipment. It reads the ethanol content in the fuel and electronically adjusts injector operation so the engine can run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.
Advanced Fuel Dynamics does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this kit. This product cannot be shipped to California for use on a pollution-controlled vehicle.

- Confirm that your Yukon XL or Suburban has the factory 5.3L EcoTec3 V8.
- Do not use this kit with the 6.2L V8 or 3.0L Duramax diesel.
- Standard-wheelbase Yukon and Tahoe models require a different kit.
- Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable installing an inline automotive connector pin.
- Modified and forced-induction setups may need additional fuel-system capacity and a custom E85 or flex-fuel tune.
- The optional FlexLink module is required if you want Bluetooth ethanol-content monitoring on your phone.
