Fitment Information

• Nissan Maxima A35 7th Gen 3.5L V6, halogen S and SV trims only (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014)
• Does not fit Premium or Sport package Xenon models

Fitment Note: Halogen models only. The 2009-2014 Maxima came with factory Xenon (HID) headlights on any trim equipped with the Premium or Sport package. This kit is not compatible with those models. To confirm whether your Maxima has halogen or Xenon, look for a ballast unit behind the headlight housing or check whether the current light produces a bright white-blue output. Halogen models have an H11 low beam and a 9005 high beam. Xenon models use a D2S bulb with a separate ballast. If you see a ballast, this is not the right headlight for your car.

The halogen (9N00A) and Xenon (9N01A) headlight assemblies are completely different and share no components. This Xtune kit replaces the halogen assembly only. If your OEM headlight carries the 9N01A Xenon part number, this kit is not compatible with your car.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How do I know if my Maxima has halogen or Xenon?
  If your headlights produce a bright white-blue light and there's a small black box (ballast) mounted behind each headlight housing, you have Xenon HID. Halogen headlights produce a more yellowish-white light and there's no ballast. You can also check your build sheet or window sticker for the Premium or Sport package, as those came with Xenon. If you're not sure, reach out to us and we can help you confirm before ordering.
• Do bulbs come included?
  No. The low beam uses H11 and the high beam uses 9005. Both are standard halogen bulbs that are already in your factory housing. Pull them off before you toss the old headlights and they drop straight into the new Xtune units.
• Can I swap in LED or HID bulbs after installing these?
  Xtune explicitly says that installing HID or LED replacement bulbs voids the warranty. If you want to run HID or LED low beams, reach out to us and we can point you to a housing that's designed for that, rather than retrofitting a halogen projector which can create glare and hotspots.
• What's the difference between black and black smoke?
  The black housing (9043055) has a standard clear outer lens so the internal housings show their full color. The black smoke (9043062) adds a dark tinted outer lens over the same internal setup, giving it a more blacked-out look from the outside. The chrome version (9043079) has a silver reflective interior with a clear outer lens.

These fit the 2009-2014 Nissan Maxima A35 with halogen headlights, which is the S and SV trim. If your Maxima came with the Premium or Sport package, your car has factory Xenon HID headlights and these won't fit. The easiest way to tell: if there's a black ballast box behind each headlight housing, you have Xenon. If you just see the bulb itself, you have halogen.

The H11 low beam and 9005 high beam bulbs in your factory housing transfer straight into these. Don't throw the old headlights away before pulling the bulbs.

Three housing options: straight black, black with smoked outer lens, and chrome. The LED light bar runs as a DRL when the parking lights are on and the turn signal runs sequentially when activated.
