Product Description

The Vibrant 1793 Bottle Style Resonator is a practical addition to a custom 2.5-inch exhaust that sounds too sharp, raspy, or aggressive. Its 18-inch overall length provides more sound-absorption capacity than Vibrant’s shorter 12-inch bottle-style resonator while retaining a compact 4-inch round body.

Inside the T304 stainless steel housing is a straight-through perforated core surrounded by multi-layer sound-absorption material. This construction helps smooth out the exhaust note and control unwanted resonance while keeping the exhaust path direct. The round body also makes it easier to package in exhaust tunnels where a wider oval resonator may not fit.

Before You Buy

Measure the available space before cutting or modifying the exhaust. The 18-inch measurement is the resonator’s total overall length, and the round body measures 4 inches in diameter. Final sound and drone reduction will depend on the engine, exhaust layout, catalytic converters, muffler, tubing length, and resonator placement. Welding and custom exhaust fabrication are required for most installations.
