Product Description
A CPLT intake gives your Toyota more audible induction and airflow, but its exposed filter can pick up dust quickly when the truck spends time on dirt roads, in desert conditions, or behind other vehicles on the trail. The SXTH trailSHIELD adds a washable outer layer over the filter to catch that debris first.
It helps keep the main filter cleaner between services without changing the intake system itself. When the trailSHIELD gets dirty, remove it, wash it, let it dry, and reinstall it. It is a small addition that makes sense for Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser 250, and Tundra owners who use their SXTH intake beyond normal pavement driving.
