Product Description
The Trackspec ST2 center hood louver gives your fifth-gen Camaro a proper path for underhood heat to escape. It is shaped around the low-pressure area behind the radiator, where airflow can pull hot air out of the engine bay as the car is moving.
That heat extraction can help airflow move through the radiator more effectively while also reducing the pressure that can build under the hood at speed. For Camaro Z/28 owners putting time in at track days, autocross events, or high-speed road courses, it is a functional vent kit with a clean, vehicle-specific look.
The louver is contoured for the Camaro hood and finished in satin black powder coat. This listing includes the center section only, along with the template, rivets, washers, and instructions needed for installation.
Installing a Center Hood Louver on Your 5th Gen Camaro
This is a cut-and-rivet installation, not a bolt-on hood accessory. You will be cutting the factory hood and drilling for the supplied rivets, so take your time with the template and check the area underneath the hood before making the first cut.
It is also good to test-fit the louver before drilling and make sure hood bracing, insulation, washer nozzles, and any other components below the hood will not interfere. Since this kit includes only the center section, it does not include side louvers or a replacement hood.
