Replace the restrictive factory hot-side intercooler piping and its built-in resonator with this 2.25-inch hot pipe from SXTH Element. The factory setup uses several sections of rubber and plastic tubing, while the SXTH pipe gives the turbo a smoother, more direct path into the intercooler.
SXTH reports approximately 19% more airflow capacity than the factory pipe, with gains of up to 6 wheel horsepower and 5 lb-ft of torque. It also removes the factory intercooler resonator, so you can expect to hear a little more turbo and induction sound under boost.

What Does the Intercooler Hot Pipe Do?
The hot pipe carries compressed air from the turbocharger outlet to the intercooler. Replacing the factory multi-piece pipe with a smoother mandrel-bent pipe reduces unnecessary bends, removes the factory resonator and gives the charged air a less restrictive path into the intercooler.

Installation
The SXTH hot pipe replaces the factory pipe between the turbocharger and intercooler. The included silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps connect it to the original turbo outlet and factory intercooler. Installing this complete pipe also removes the factory resonator, so a separate resonator-delete pipe is not needed.
If you plan to install the compatible SXTH front-mount intercooler later, this hot pipe is the matching piece required for that setup.
