This is not just a large filter attached to an open pipe. SXTH uses an enclosed molded airbox, a six-inch dry filter and a Helmholtz resonator designed specifically for the Tacoma’s 3.5L V6. Installation

The CPLT intake bolts into the Tacoma without cutting or permanent modifications. It retains the required factory connections and uses a MAF housing designed to work with the stock ECU calibration. No tuning is required after installation.
