Do I need to press in bushings myself?
No. That's one of the main reasons to buy this kit over sourcing arms and bushings separately. The SuperPro bushings and new ball joints come pre-installed in the arms at the factory. You unbox them and bolt them on. Much cleaner install, especially for a home garage build without a press. -
How is this different from just replacing the OEM rubber bushings?
The OEM rubber bushings are soft by design for NVH comfort. Over time they deteriorate and allow the arm to flex in ways it shouldn't, which shows up as vague steering and inconsistent handling. SuperPro's polyurethane bushings hold the arm in position much more precisely and last significantly longer than OEM rubber. You'll feel the difference in steering response immediately, especially in hard corners or during quick direction changes. -
Does this fit the Mazdaspeed 3?
We would recommend verifying directly with SuperPro before ordering the TRC1051 on a Mazdaspeed 3. The BL Mazdaspeed 3 has different front suspension geometry compared to the standard Mazda 3. Reach out to us and we can confirm whether this kit works for your specific car before you commit. -
Do I need an alignment after installing these?
Yes. Replacing front control arms changes the suspension geometry and will push your alignment out of spec. Always budget for a four-wheel alignment as part of this job. Do not drive far on a car with fresh control arms and no alignment.

The TRC1051 replaces the factory front lower control arms on the BL Mazda 3 with a fully assembled SuperPro unit that drops straight in. No press. No sourcing separate bushings. The SuperPro bushings and uprated ball joints are already installed when they leave the factory, so you're not fighting with a hydraulic press or a rubber mallet in the driveway.
The OEM rubber bushings are fine when new but they deteriorate over time and let the arm flex when it shouldn't. That shows up as vague steering and front end wander. SuperPro polyurethane holds the arm where it's supposed to be and lasts a lot longer than rubber.
Kit covers both sides and comes with new mounting bolts. Wheel alignment is required after installation.
