V2, like its predecessor, seamlessly integrates the Power Module into the factory wiring harness and fine-tunes crucial parameters, unlocks increased boost pressure, and delivers substantial power and torque gains throughout the entire power band. All in minutes without any special tools, splicing or soldering.

Most importantly, the additional power that is enjoyed by thousands already is unchanged. From the factory the Dodge Durango Hellcat is rated at 707 or 717 flywheel horsepower depending on the year. On our dyno we saw a maximum wheel horsepower output of 561 horsepower at 5900 RPM*. After installing our TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module the dyno reported back a maximum horsepower output of 627 horsepower at 6,100 RPM. Making the biggest gains near the top end, just over 80 wheel horsepower. This left us with an overall gain of more than 90 flywheel horsepower at 5200 rpm. which equates to a total peak engine output of nearly 790 flywheel horsepower*.
When it comes to increasing the torque output, our TruControl really shines. Maximum torque from the stock dyno was measured at 563 lb-ft at 3750 RPM*. With the TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module installed, our test Hellcat put down 616 lb-ft of torque at 5000 RPM*. Again, we saw the biggest increase over stock near the top end, with increases of 85 ft lbs @4600 RPM measured at the wheels!
What Makes TruControl V2 Different
Rather than fixing a problem, STILLEN set out to evolve a proven platform with V2. Working with advanced electronics partners, we completely re engineered the internal hardware to make TruControl smarter, faster, and more capable of growing into the future. The new processing hardware not only improves responsiveness today, it lays the groundwork for expanded data integration through the vehicle’s OBD2 system in the future.
Power delivery itself has also been refined. By leveraging additional engine signals on applicable vehicles, TruControl V2 is able to manage boost with greater accuracy across the RPM range. The result is power that feels more natural and more controlled, delivering strong acceleration without harshness. It is a tune you can feel immediately, but one that remains balanced and smooth whether you are cruising the highway on your daily commute, driving spiritedly on country roads, or tearing down a straight away at your local track.
The physical module has undergone the same thoughtful evolution. Every TruControl V2 unit is sealed in a high quality polyurethane potting compound, creating a rugged, weather resistant enclosure designed to withstand heat, vibration, and the demanding environments trucks are actually used in. You may not see the electronics inside anymore, but that is the point. They are protected, preserved, and built for long term service.
