Product Description
SPL rear traction links replace the factory rear links on the BMW F32, F33, and F36 with a stronger, adjustable setup built for street and track use. The factory rubber bushings can deflect when the car is loaded under acceleration or braking, which can make the rear suspension feel less consistent.
The SPL RTR F3X links use PTFE-lined FK rod ends to remove that unwanted movement and give the rear suspension a more direct, predictable feel. Their adjustable length also gives experienced alignment shops more control over rear bump steer and anti-squat when setting up a lowered or track-focused 4 Series.
Gun-drilled 2024 aluminum links help keep weight down, while the 360-degree rotating clamp lets you lock in the adjustment with a simple Allen key. No fighting with jam nuts or trying to hold the rod ends in position while tightening everything down.
Setting Up Rear Traction Links on Your BMW 4 Series
These links are best installed as part of a proper rear-suspension setup, especially on a lowered car or one that sees track use. Once the links are installed, get a professional alignment. Their adjustment affects suspension geometry, so this is not a part to install and drive without checking the rear alignment.
Traction links address the fore-and-aft rear link position. They do not replace rear toe links or rear upper arms. If you need more toe or camber range, SPL offers those parts separately for the F3X chassis.
