These Spec-D projector headlights replace the dated factory look on a Porsche Boxster 986 or early 911 996.1 with projector lenses, an integrated LED DRL light strip, and LED turn signal lighting. Each set is sold as a complete pair and includes built-in fog lights and H1 bulbs.

Fitment Note
These headlights do not fit Porsche 911 996 Turbo models or cars equipped with factory Xenon/HID Litronic headlights. Cars with factory headlight washers require the washer system to be removed and disabled before installation.

Product Description
Spec-D projector headlights give the 986 Boxster and 996.1 Carrera a more modern front-end look without moving into a custom headlight retrofit. The projector housings, LED DRL light strip, and LED turn signal lights update the appearance of the car while retaining a vehicle-specific replacement design for factory-halogen models.
The set includes H1 high- and low-beam bulbs along with built-in fog lights. Choose chrome with a clear lens for a brighter OEM-inspired look, matte black with a clear lens for more contrast, or gloss black with a tinted lens for the darkest finish.

Installing Headlights on a 986 or 996.1
These lights are for cars with factory halogen headlights. They are not a replacement for factory Litronic HID headlights, and they do not fit a 996 Turbo. If your car has headlight washers, plan on removing and disabling that system during installation. Once the headlights are installed, have the beam aim checked before driving at night.
