Spec-D Projector Headlights BMW E39 525i 530i 535i 540i (01-03) w/ LED Turn Signal Lights - Black or Chrome

These headlights use the V2 version of Spec-D's E39 housing, which adds LED sequential turn signals versus the earlier version that used a standard amber bulb turn signal. If you've seen E39 builds with that clean Euro-style pulsing turn signal effect at the front, this is the version you want. The chrome housing option keeps the factory look with upgraded output, while the matte black gives the front end a more aggressive blacked-out stance.

Fitment Note: These headlights are designed for 2001-2003 BMW E39 5 Series models equipped with the factory halogen headlight setup. They are not compatible with any E39 that came with OEM Xenon/HID headlights from the factory. The 528i was discontinued after the 2000 model year in the US market, so the 528i fitment applies to 2001 only if your car is a late production unit that falls within this build range. These do not fit 1996-2000 E39 models, which use a different headlight housing.

The OEM part numbers above apply to the 2001-2003 halogen E39 headlight assemblies only. The 1997-2000 E39 used different part numbers and a different housing design, which is why the Spec-D LED turn signal version is specific to the 2001-2003 facelift body. If your car has the factory Xenon setup, the OEM Xenon headlight assemblies use entirely different part numbers and these Spec-D units will not replace them. Always confirm your car's headlight type before ordering by checking the front of the housing. Xenon cars have a separate projector unit and a self-leveling motor visible inside the housing.
