Frequently Asked Questions

• Do bulbs come included?
  No. Pull your factory bulbs from the original housing before you remove it. They drop straight into the new Spec-D unit without any modification.
• Will these fit the Eclipse Spyder convertible?
  Yes. The Spyder uses the same 3G headlight housing as the coupe across the full 2000-2005 production run.
• Why does the OEM part number section show two different sets?
  Mitsubishi revised the headlight assembly partway through the 2002 model year. Cars built up to January 2002 use one part number and cars built from February 2002 onward use a different one. Both versions are compatible with this Spec-D kit. Check your door jamb sticker for your car's build date to confirm which set matches yours.
• What is the difference between chrome and matte black housing?
  The chrome housing (LH-ELP00-ABM) has a silver reflective interior and is the closer match to the factory look. The matte black (LH-ELP00JM-ABM) has a dark interior for a more blacked-out appearance. Both use a clear outer lens and are mechanically identical.

The 3G Eclipse headlight assembly changed partway through the 2002 model year production run. If you are searching by OEM part number, confirm your vehicle's production date (found on the door jamb sticker) to determine which set applies to your car. Both sets are compatible with this Spec-D kit. 

Warranty Information

All Spec-D products sold on Redline360 as of 4/1/2021 now feature an extended warranty, free!  Spec-D Tuning offers a standard 90 day manufacturer defect warranty, but Redline360 doubles this warranty to 180 for any Spec-D products purchased on or after 4/1/2021. If your Spec-D lights came with bulbs and they burned out during the warranty period, simply contact us for a free replacement. Warranty is valid for any manufacturer defect and does not cover any modification or any lights that were modified.
