The Spec-D RAD3-F25099 is a 3-row aluminum radiator for Ford Excursion owners replacing a tired factory radiator on a 6.8L V10 or 7.3L Powerstroke. It is built as a direct-fit replacement and uses an aluminum, three-row design for added cooling capacity over the original-style single-row setup.
This is a practical upgrade for an Excursion that tows, carries a lot of weight, sees hot weather, or simply needs a reliable replacement for a leaking or aging radiator. The aluminum construction keeps the radiator light while giving the cooling system a more durable, performance-minded core design.
Replacing the Radiator in Your Ford Excursion
A radiator replacement is a good time to look over the rest of the cooling system. This listing includes the radiator only, so inspect the radiator cap, upper and lower hoses, clamps, fan assembly, and coolant condition before starting the job. It is also worth flushing the system so old debris does not end up in the new core.
Use coolant that is safe for aluminum components and bleed the cooling system fully after installation. Air trapped in the system can cause temperature issues even when the new radiator itself is working properly.
