• The front strut mount includes a slotted spindle that allows front camber adjustment during installation without requiring separate camber bolts. This is built directly into the kit.
• For rear camber correction after lowering, separate camber bolts or caster kit are needed.
• Some MK2 and MK3 applications require an additional VW/AG bolt kit (VW parts 2x N90517304 and 2x N10209009) at additional cost from a VW dealer or authorized supplier.
• Damping is fixed and not adjustable on the S1.
• Ride height is the only field-adjustable parameter, with a continuous lowering range of 45 to 85mm (approximately 1.7 to 3.3 inches) at both front and rear.
• Height is adjusted through the threaded coilover body independently of spring preload.

• Does this fit the VR6 Golf or Jetta?
  Yes. The S1VW002 fits all engine variants on the MK2 and MK3 A2/A3 platform including the VR6. The spring rates are actually rated at VR6 weight for the front. All trims and engines are covered as long as the car is FWD and not the Syncro AWD variant.
• Does this fit the VW Corrado or Passat?
  Yes. The S1VW002 also fits the VW Corrado (1990-1994) and VW Passat B3/B4 2WD (1988-1996). These platforms share the same A2/A3 suspension architecture. If you have one of these cars and want to confirm fitment before ordering, reach out to us and we will confirm.
• What is the VW/AG bolt kit and do I need it?
  Some MK2 and MK3 applications require an additional hardware kit from VW (parts 2x N90517304 and 2x N10209009) that is not included in the coilover kit. This is available from any VW dealer or authorized VW parts supplier. Whether you need it depends on your specific car. The Solo-Werks installation instructions will indicate whether your application requires it. We recommend reading those before starting the install.
• Do these coilovers provide front camber adjustment?
  Yes. The front strut mount includes a slotted spindle that allows front camber adjustment during installation. This is built into the kit and does not require separate camber bolts at the front. For rear camber correction after lowering, Eibach rear camber bolts are available on our site specifically for the MK2 and MK3 platform.

The S1VW002 covers the full A2 and A3 platform including all MK2 and MK3 Golf and Jetta trims and engines from the 1.3 all the way through the VR6 and TDI. It also fits the VW Corrado (1990-1994) and Passat B3/B4 2WD (1988-1996), which share the same front strut and rear shock architecture. Syncro AWD variants are not compatible. The front strut mount includes a slotted spindle that allows front camber adjustment directly during installation without needing separate camber bolts at the front axle. Some MK2 and MK3 applications require an additional VW/AG bolt kit (VW parts 2x N90517304 and 2x N10209009) sourced separately from a VW dealer.
