- Note: FWD models only. Does not fit Audi A3 Quattro AWD, which uses different rear suspension geometry and requires a separate kit
- Note: Requires multi-link independent rear suspension. Does not fit A3 8P models equipped with a torsion beam rear axle
- Note: Does not retain OEM electronic damping systems if equipped
Fitment Note: These coilovers fit the Audi A3 8P in FWD configuration with multi-link independent rear suspension only. Most 2006-2014 A3 FWD models use multi-link rear suspension, but base trim A3 models in some markets used a torsion beam rear axle which is not compatible with this kit. Confirm your rear suspension type before ordering. Does not fit Quattro AWD A3 models. An alignment is required after installation. Sold as a complete set of 4 coilovers.

Solo-Werks positions the S1 as a no-frills street coilover for drivers who want adjustable ride height and better body control without adding complexity. The fixed damping is set by Solo-Werks for street use, so there's no adjustment knob to fiddle with after the install. The gold zinc housings hold up better than bare steel in wet climates, and the 500-hour salt spray rating backs that up. On the 8P A3, the front gets up to 2.6 inches of drop and the rear up to 2.75 inches, which is enough range to run a meaningful stance without going so low that the suspension runs out of travel. Confirm your A3 has the multi-link rear suspension before ordering since the base models with torsion beam rear axle are not compatible.
