Fitment Note

Does not fit vehicles equipped with an air-injection system on the factory intake. Confirm both your engine size and the factory intake configuration before ordering. This is not for Cobalt SS models with the 2.0L turbocharged engine.

Product Description

This Rtunes Racing short ram air intake is an affordable intake upgrade for select naturally aspirated GM Ecotec cars. The black powder-coated pipe and reusable cone filter replace the factory airbox with a more open layout, so you hear more intake tone when you get into the throttle.

It is a true short ram setup, meaning the filter remains in the engine bay rather than routing down into the fender area. That makes the kit straightforward to install and easy to inspect when it is time to clean the filter.

Before You Buy

Verify the engine size before ordering, especially on Cobalt applications where 2.0L turbo models are not covered. Also inspect the stock intake for an air-injection system. Vehicles with that setup need a different intake solution.
