Fitment Note
This intake is for the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 only. It does not fit 2.3L or hybrid Explorer models. 2025 and 2026 Explorers need S&B cap AI3296-00 to seal the extra port on the intake tube. Confirm the cap is included with your intake before installation.
Emissions Note
There is no CARB EO for this intake. It cannot be sold to California or used on a vehicle registered in California.

Product Description
The 3.0L Explorer runs two turbos, and this S&B intake replaces the factory airbox with a larger enclosed box and two filters. The factory setup pulls through one panel filter and uses baffles to keep the intake quiet. This kit opens that up with two filters and larger intake tubes running to the turbos.
You will hear more turbo and intake sound when you get into the throttle, especially from inside the cabin. No tune is required. The intake works with the factory calibration as long as everything is installed correctly and the battery is disconnected during installation so the computer can relearn the added airflow.
Choose the oiled cotton version if you want reusable filters that are washed and re-oiled at service time. Choose the dry version if you drive in dusty areas and want filters that can be blown out with compressed air between replacements.
