Hear more of the B58 turbo and give your G30 540i a less restrictive intake path with this cold air intake from RVNG RaceWorks. It replaces the quiet factory airbox with enlarged intake piping, a reusable dry filter and an enclosed heat shield that works with the factory fresh-air inlet.
The biggest difference you will notice is the sound. Turbo spool, induction noise and diverter-valve sound are much easier to hear when you get into the throttle. The black intake and RVNG-branded heat shield also give the engine bay a cleaner look without feeling out of place.
Fitment Information
- BMW 540i G30 RWD with B58 3.0L turbo engine (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)
- BMW 540i xDrive G30 AWD with B58 3.0L turbo engine (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)
Fitment Note: This intake is made for the G30-generation 540i. It does not fit the 2024 and newer G60 540i.
More B58 Turbo and Intake Sound
The factory G30 airbox keeps the B58 pretty quiet. RVNG replaces it with a high-flow cone filter and a more open intake path, letting you hear more turbo spool and intake sound during acceleration. It works well on a stock daily driver and also makes sense as a supporting upgrade when you start adding a tune, downpipe or other B58 performance parts.
Enclosed Heat Shield
The included heat shield helps separate the air filter from engine-bay heat while retaining the factory fresh-air inlet. Its black finish and RVNG branding give the completed installation a clean look inside the G30 engine bay.
