Lower your F80 M3 or F82/F83 M4 while giving yourself more control over how the suspension feels with these GT-1 coilovers from Riaction. The kit combines adjustable ride height, 32 levels of damping adjustment and front camber plates, so you can set the car up for daily driving, back-road use or occasional track days.
These coilovers use a monotube damper with independent height adjustment, allowing you to lower the car without using spring preload to set the ride height. The standard 8K front and 14K rear spring rates give the F8X chassis a firmer, more controlled feel without turning it into something that is difficult to drive on the street.

Choose Your Front Upper Mount
- 3-Bolt Front Upper Mount, BM-030-LT: Riaction specifies this version for F80, F82 and F83 models produced before January 2015.
- 5-Bolt Front Upper Mount, BM-031-LT: Riaction specifies this version for F80, F82 and F83 models produced after January 2015.
Check your car before ordering. Open the hood and count the studs securing one of the front strut mounts. Select the 3-bolt kit if you see three mounting studs or the 5-bolt kit if you see five. Do not choose the variant based only on the model year because early-production cars may use a different mount.
Fitment Notes
- These are performance lowering coilovers and are not designed to maintain or raise the factory ride height
- Expect an approximate lowering range of 1 to 3 inches unless otherwise specified
- Professional installation and a four-wheel alignment are recommended
- Customers with factory Electronic Damper Control should verify whether a separate EDC cancellation solution is needed for their car

Installation
The 3-bolt and 5-bolt kits are made for their matching factory mounting patterns, so no drilling or modification should be needed when the correct version is selected. After installation, set the ride height, confirm that all locking collars are tight and have the car professionally aligned.
