Product Description
The Rev9 Hyper Street II coilovers are a solid budget option if you want to lower your Nissan Maxima and get adjustable ride height and damping without a big spend. This kit covers both the A35 (2009-2014) and A36 (2016-2019) generations and includes front camber plates with pillow ball upper mounts. Note that 2015 is not included as it was a model year gap between generations.
The kit uses a monotube shock design for better oil and gas capacity over a twin-tube setup. Damping is 32-way adjustable and ride height is set independently of spring preload so you can lower the car without affecting spring tension. Height range is approximately 1" at minimum to about 3" maximum drop from stock. Factory ride height cannot be achieved. Rev9 tested these springs by compressing them over 600,000 times with a distortion rate of only 0.04%.
This is a true coilover conversion on the rear, meaning the OEM rear springs need to be removed during installation. Professional installation and a full wheel alignment are recommended after the kit is installed.
