Product Description
The Rev9 Hyper Street II kit replaces the factory shocks and springs with a height-adjustable coilover setup for an Explorer or Explorer Sport Trac owner who wants a lower stance and more control over the ride. R9-HS2-222 includes all four corners and top hats, so it is a complete suspension package rather than a spring-only drop.
The 32-way damping adjustment lets you tune the feel after the vehicle is set at its preferred height. Start in the middle of the adjustment range, drive the vehicle, and then make small changes from there. Softer settings are usually more comfortable on rough streets, while firmer settings can give the suspension a more controlled feel.
Before You Install
Set ride height conservatively at first and make sure the tires clear through steering and suspension travel. The final drop can vary with wheel size, tire size, trim, and the condition of the factory suspension components. Have the vehicle professionally aligned after installation and again after any meaningful ride-height change.
