Open up the exhaust on your Civic Si, Civic 1.5T, Integra or Accord with this 3-inch front pipe from PRL Motorsports. It replaces the smaller factory section after the emissions system, giving the turbocharged 1.5L engine a less restrictive path into the rest of the exhaust.
This is one of those upgrades that makes the most sense when you are already working toward a complete exhaust setup. It works with the factory downpipe and exhaust, but it can also be paired with PRL's downpipe and a three-inch catback when you want to improve flow through the entire system. PRL reports gains of up to 7 horsepower along with better midrange and top-end exhaust flow.

This front pipe is installed after the factory emissions-control system and does not replace the catalytic converter. PRL does not advertise it as California street legal or covered by a CARB Executive Order. Check local regulations before ordering or installing any exhaust modification.

Installation
The PRL front pipe bolts between the downpipe and the remaining exhaust system. No ECU tune is needed, and the included gaskets and stainless hardware cover the front pipe installation.
Clearance around the exhaust fasteners is limited, so make sure you have the correct extensions, sockets and torque wrench before starting. If you plan to install a rear engine mount, do that first. Access to the factory rear mount may require removing the front pipe after it has been installed.
Do not heat-wrap, coat or otherwise insulate the pipe or flex section. PRL notes that trapping additional heat can shorten the life of the exhaust components and may affect warranty coverage.
