Product Description
The PLM billet oil pan is a serious supporting upgrade for 2009-2019 Nissan GT-R owners who are adding power, spending time at the track, or simply want more oil capacity in their VR38DETT. It adds 1.5 quarts over the factory pan, giving you a larger oil supply for hard-driven street cars and higher-output builds.
PLM machines the pan from 6061 billet aluminum rather than using a thin stamped replacement. The result is a strong, purpose-built wet-sump oil pan made specifically for the R35 GT-R, with a clean look that fits right in on a properly built VR38.
Installing a Billet Oil Pan on Your R35 GT-R
This is a proper engine-service upgrade, not a quick exterior bolt-on. Plan to drain the engine oil, remove the factory pan, use the appropriate oil-pan sealant during installation, and inspect for leaks before driving the car. It is also a good time to look over the rest of the oiling and PCV system while everything is accessible. If you have a 2015 GT-R, be prepared for possible undertray trimming.
