Fitment Note
Designed for the sixth-generation Honda Prelude BF1 2.0L hybrid platform. This downpipe bolts to the factory exhaust and includes the gaskets and hardware needed for installation.
Emissions Compliance
PLM includes a high-flow, EPA-compliant catalytic converter in this downpipe. There is no CARB EO, so it is not legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California. Check local emissions rules before ordering.

Product Description
The PLM catted downpipe is one of the first exhaust upgrades built specifically for the 2026+ Honda Prelude BF1 2.0L hybrid. It replaces the restrictive factory downpipe section with larger 2.5-inch mandrel-bent tubing and a 200-cell metallic high-flow catalyst.
PLM uses 18-gauge 304 stainless steel, a thick CNC-machined manifold flange, and hand TIG welds for a durable, factory-location fit. The downpipe bolts directly to the factory exhaust and includes the gaskets and hardware needed to install it.
The high-flow catalyst is designed to reduce exhaust restriction while keeping a catalytic converter in the system. For Prelude owners building out the exhaust, it is a clean starting point that is made specifically for the BF1 platform rather than adapted from another Honda application.
What to Know Before Installing a Prelude Downpipe
PLM recommends adding a 90-degree secondary O2 sensor adapter to help prevent a check-engine light. An adapter can improve sensor placement, but it does not guarantee that a warning light will not appear.
This is a direct-bolt-on exhaust part, but it still changes an emissions-related component. Confirm emissions legality where you drive before installation, and make sure the exhaust is fully sealed and the O2 sensor wiring is routed clear of heat and moving parts.
