Product Description

The Planted seat bracket provides the vehicle-specific base needed to install an aftermarket racing seat in a 12th-generation Toyota Corolla with the E210 chassis. It bolts to the vehicle floor and creates a flat mounting surface for compatible seat sliders, side mounts or a directly mounted aftermarket seat.

Each bracket is developed using the vehicle floor as a reference. The 3/16-inch steel construction is laser cut, hand welded and finished in black powder coat. Pre-slotted mounting patterns support sliders from brands including BRAUM, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, MOMO, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, Status Racing and Takata.

Slider and seat compatibility still need to be confirmed before installation. Some slider widths or mounting patterns require drilling. Bride sliders commonly require the original vehicle-specific feet to be removed, while certain wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders require an alternate mounting pattern or minor slot modification.

Before You Buy

• Measure the seat at its widest points and compare it with the Corolla interior before ordering.
• Check whether your seat is bottom mounted or side mounted.
• Confirm the slider bolt pattern before selecting mounting hardware.
• Replacing the factory seat can activate airbag, occupancy-sensor or seatbelt warning indicators because those components may be built into the original seat.
• Do not assume a resistor will correct an airbag or occupancy-sensor warning. Requirements vary by vehicle and seat configuration.
• An aftermarket seat may sit differently relative to the steering wheel than the original seat. Final seating position depends on the seat width, side mounts, sliders and selected mounting holes.
