Product Description
The PERRIN Steering Rack Lockdown is an aftermarket chassis-stiffening mod for Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86 / Scion FR‑S / Toyota GR86 (and similar variants). It replaces the soft, flex-prone OEM rack-mount bushings with rigid, CNC-machined aluminum mounts that bolt the steering rack directly to the sub-frame - eliminating most of the stock flex.
This upgrade intends to improve steering feel, driver feedback, and front-end responsiveness - especially noticeable in sharp turns, spirited driving, or when using stiffer suspension setups.
