- Material: CNC-machined 6061 aluminum
- Finish Black anodized aluminum - for durability and corrosion resistance
- Function: Replaces OEM rubber bushings to firmly mount driveshaft carrier — reducing unwanted driveshaft movement and improving traction/stability during hard acceleration.
- Installation: Bolt-on; no cutting or special tools required (vehicle must be safely hoisted or supported). Install time ~ 30 minutes.
- Effect on NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness): Minimal - it offers a solid connection while only slightly increasing NVH, depending on condition of driveshaft bearing.

Product Description
Keep your driveshaft firmly in place and maintain proper alignment with the PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown.
The PERRIN Driveshaft Lockdown is a performance upgrade for the drivetrain. It replaces the soft OEM driveshaft carrier bushings with solid, rigid aluminum pieces. This keeps the driveshaft firmly in place.
During hard acceleration or aggressive driving, OEM rubber bushings can flex or break down. This can lead to driveshaft movement, wheel hop, or loss of traction. The Driveshaft Lockdown reduces that unwanted movement and improves drivetrain stability and overall driver feel.
Installation is straightforward. The lockdown kit fits over the OEM driveshaft carrier and does not require cutting or special tools, as long as you have proper vehicle support for the installation.
