If your intake manifold has a Ford 5.0 90mm throttle flange and you want to run a Bosch electronic throttle body, this adapter gives you the correct flange for a Bosch 68mm, 74mm or 82mm DBW throttle body.
The same Ford 5.0 90mm flange is also used on Honda Gato intake manifolds. Each adapter is CNC-machined from billet aluminum, sealed with integrated O-rings and supplied with the M8 and M6 mounting hardware.

Product Description
This adapter is for a custom drive-by-wire conversion using an intake manifold with the Ford 5.0 90mm throttle flange. It replaces the cable-operated throttle-body mounting pattern with the flange needed for the selected Bosch electronic throttle body.
The O-rings seal both mating surfaces, so separate paper gaskets are not listed as required by Outsider Garage. The adapter also comes with hardware for both sides instead of making you source two different bolt sizes.
Installation Notes
- Confirm the intake-manifold bolt pattern before ordering.
- Select the adapter for the exact Bosch throttle-body size being installed.
- Make sure both sealing surfaces are clean before installing the O-rings and adapter.
- Check hood, charge-pipe and intake-pipe clearance after adding the thickness of the adapter.
- Electronic throttle wiring and ECU calibration should be completed by someone familiar with DBW systems.

Before You Buy
- This listing is for the manifold adapter and mounting hardware. A Bosch electronic throttle body is not included.
- A complete DBW conversion also requires a compatible accelerator pedal, wiring and an ECU capable of controlling an electronic throttle body.
- The ECU must be properly configured and calibrated for the throttle body and pedal being used.
- Do not select the adapter by intake-pipe diameter. Select it by the actual Bosch throttle-body size and bolt pattern.
- Outsider Garage states that other manifolds may fit, but the Ford 5.0 90mm flange dimensions should be checked before ordering.
- The Bosch 76mm and 82mm throttle bodies share a bolt pattern according to Outsider Garage, but this listing’s current adapter option is labeled 82mm.
