Replace the aging factory idle air control valve on your R33 Skyline with this billet IACV from Outsider Garage. It bolts to the factory three-bolt RB25DET flange and uses a common GM four-pin stepper motor that gives a standalone ECU more control over idle speed.
This is a useful upgrade for an RB25DET that has larger injectors, aftermarket cams, a front-facing intake manifold or other changes that make the factory idle valve harder to tune around. It flows approximately 20% more air than the original valve and includes a fitting for either a regular hose or an upgraded AN line.

Important ECU Requirement
This IACV requires an aftermarket ECU capable of controlling a four-pin stepper motor. It will not work with the factory Nissan ECU.
The supplied plug and terminals must be wired to the standalone ECU, then the stepper direction, step count and idle-control settings must be configured by the tuner.
Manifold Adapter Options
- None: Fits the standard R33 RB25DET three-bolt IACV flange
- RB20 / RB26 Adapter: Allows installation on a compatible four-bolt RB20 or RB26 manifold
- RB25DET NEO Adapter: Allows installation on a compatible four-bolt RB25DET NEO manifold
Select an adapter only if your intake manifold does not have the standard R33 RB25DET three-bolt flange.

Installation Notes
- Confirm the intake manifold has the correct three-bolt flange or select the required adapter.
- Install the valve with a properly sealed mounting surface to prevent an idle-air leak.
- Wire the supplied four-pin connector to a compatible standalone ECU.
- Configure and test the stepper motor before starting the engine.
- Final idle settings should be completed once the engine is at normal operating temperature.
