Fitment Note
This NRG quick release is not vehicle-specific. You will need a vehicle-specific NRG short hub adapter and a compatible 6-bolt aftermarket steering wheel to complete the installation. It does not install directly to the factory steering wheel.

Product Description
The NRG Quick Release 1.5 / 2.0 is a universal steering-wheel quick release for aftermarket 6-bolt wheels. It installs between a vehicle-specific NRG short hub and your steering wheel, giving you a removable steering-wheel setup for track, drift, and off-road builds.
Both versions fit 6x70mm and 6x74mm steering-wheel bolt patterns and include horn wires. The main difference comes down to the release mechanism. Gen 1.5 uses a ball-lock design with a push-pin safety lock, while Gen 2.0 uses NRG's self-locking design and raised hub sections that help protect the connection point during use.
Choosing Gen 1.5 or Gen 2.0
Gen 1.5 is the traditional choice for owners who prefer a push-pin safety lock. Gen 2.0 removes the push-pin and uses a self-locking design, which makes it the better fit for owners who want a quicker release process. Both require the same basic setup: a vehicle-specific short hub and a compatible aftermarket steering wheel.
These are not direct replacements for factory steering wheels. Installing a quick release normally means removing the factory wheel and airbag, so this product is intended for off-road and track use only.
