Product Description
Give your Audi TT / TT Quattro 2.0L Turbo the cooling performance it deserves with the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler. Designed for the 8J chassis, this intercooler provides a direct-fit upgrade for 2008–2010 Audi TT models, delivering improved charge-air cooling, airflow, and durability over the factory intercooler.
The factory intercooler is adequate for everyday driving, but increased boost and spirited driving can place additional demands on the stock tube-and-fin design. The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler replaces the lightweight factory construction with a robust bar-and-plate core and fully cast aluminum end tanks, providing improved durability and enhanced heat dissipation.
Mishimoto incorporated internal air diverters into the cast end tanks to promote efficient airflow through the entire core. The upgraded core provides a 46-percent increase in core volume and a 97-percent increase in external fin surface area. Combined with the optimized end-tank design, the intercooler improves airflow by 9 percent and reduces intercooler outlet temperatures by up to 20°F.
For a seamless installation, the kit includes durable silicone intercooler pipe couplers and a CNC-machined aluminum adapter designed to connect with the factory intercooler piping. The all-aluminum, TIG-welded construction and bar-and-plate core provide the strength and cooling capacity needed for demanding turbocharged applications.
