This intake is for the 8th Gen Civic Si with the naturally aspirated 2.0L K20Z3. It does not fit base-model Civics or the 2006-2011 Civic with the 1.8L engine.

Product Description
The Mishimoto air intake replaces the stock airbox on the 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si with an aluminum intake pipe, reusable oiled filter, and heat shield. It is made for the K20Z3-powered FG2 coupe and FA5 sedan, including the 2008 Mugen Si.
This kit keeps the filter in the engine bay behind a powder-coated heat shield instead of moving it into the fender. That keeps the install simpler, with no need to remove the front bumper or splash guard. The biggest difference you will notice is the intake sound once you get into the throttle, along with Mishimoto’s claimed gains of up to 8 whp and 6 wtq on a stock tune.
What to Know Before Ordering
This version includes the heat shield and an oiled filter. The filter needs to be cleaned and re-oiled when it is due for service. Mishimoto says the intake was dyno tested on the stock tune, but its product documentation also recommends retuning after installation. If you are tuned or plan to tune the car, confirm the intake setup with your tuner.
For installation, Mishimoto recommends 22 in-lbs of torque on the worm-gear clamps. Do not exceed 27 in-lbs.
