The 2023+ Honda Civic Type R arrives from the factory with a turbocharged four-cylinder that responds directly to improvements in intake airflow. The stock airbox introduces restriction that limits how efficiently air reaches the turbo - the Mishimoto Performance Air Intake replaces it with a fully sealed, free-breathing system that reduces intake restriction by 17.9% over the factory unit, validated on the flow bench.
Back-to-back dyno runs confirm 14.9 whp and 25.3 wtq gains over stock.
