Product Description

Factory motor mounts on an older IS300 or GS300 can soften, crack, or separate after years of heat, vibration, and normal drivetrain movement. When that happens, the engine can move around more than it should, which can make shifts feel less direct and put extra stress on nearby components.

Megan Racing uses 70A hardened rubber to better control that movement while keeping the mounts rubber-based rather than going to a solid mount setup. It is a practical upgrade for naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE cars, turbo builds, drift cars, and street-driven Lexus models that need more support than tired factory mounts can provide.

What 70A Motor Mounts Change on a 2JZ Lexus

These mounts are designed to make the drivetrain feel more controlled, but the firmer rubber can also bring more vibration into the cabin than worn factory mounts. That tradeoff is normal with a performance-oriented mount. They are a good choice if you want less engine movement without moving straight to solid mounts.
