Fitment Note
- Fits 1.6L turbocharged models only.
- Does not fit naturally aspirated Veloster models.
- Fits vehicles without an underbody catalytic converter only.
- Inspect the factory exhaust underneath the vehicle or verify its configuration by VIN before ordering. This system will not connect correctly if an underbody catalytic converter is present.
- The S4702AL configuration reuses the original factory exhaust tips. Confirm that the factory tips are present and in usable condition.
- This cat-back begins after the catalytic-converter section and does not replace or remove emissions equipment.

Product Description
The MBRP Armor Lite cat-back exhaust replaces the restrictive factory exhaust behind the catalytic-converter section with 2.5-inch mandrel-bent tubing and a dual rear exit. Its smoother bends maintain the tubing diameter throughout the system, helping reduce restriction and improve exhaust flow from the Veloster Turbo’s 1.6L engine.
MBRP classifies this system as its Street Profile. It produces a deeper and more noticeable exhaust tone under acceleration without using the company’s most aggressive Race Profile configuration. This makes it better suited to a Veloster Turbo that is regularly driven on the street but still needs a clear performance exhaust note.
The Armor Lite system is constructed from aluminized steel to provide the same basic fitment and flow path as MBRP’s stainless systems at a lower price. It uses the factory mounting locations and is designed for bolt-on installation without welding.
Choose S4702AL if you want to retain the original Hyundai tips. Choose S4703AL for a complete visual change that includes two polished dual-wall stainless tips with 4-inch outlets.
