The K&N 69-8624TC Typhoon cold air intake is built for the 2022-2026 Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ with the 2.4L FA24 engine. It replaces the restrictive factory airbox and intake tube with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube and oversized oiled cotton filter to improve airflow while giving the car a more noticeable intake sound under throttle.

K&N estimates gains of 8.3 horsepower at 6,497 RPM and 5.3 lb-ft of torque. The gunmetal gray intake tube, red High-Flow Air Filter, stainless clamps, coupler, and mounting hardware are all included for a clean vehicle-specific installation.

The reusable filter is designed for long service intervals and only needs cleaning about every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. When service is due, use the correct K&N cleaner and filter oil to maintain the oiled cotton media.

Choosing an Intake for Your 2nd Gen GR86 or BRZ
