Product Description

If you want to keep the stock airbox on your 911 SC, this filter drops into the same location as the original disposable element. There is no intake pipe, heat shield or other hardware to install.

The main difference is the filter media. The 33-2004 uses four layers of oiled cotton gauze instead of disposable paper. When it gets dirty, you clean it, let it dry completely and apply fresh K&N filter oil.

K&N says its filter media is designed to improve airflow and support better engine performance. We would not expect a dramatic power change from the filter alone, especially on an otherwise stock 3.0L. The reusable construction is the more practical reason to buy it.

Installation Notes

• Open the factory airbox and remove the existing filter.
• Clean loose dirt and debris from inside the airbox.
