Frequently Asked Questions

• There's a front pipe in the box. Do I install it?
  No. The front pipe in the box is for the 2.0T version of this exhaust. On the 3.8 V6 you use the Y-pipe to connect to your factory catalytic converters and the front pipe stays in the box. Do not install it on a V6 car or it won't fit correctly. This is a common point of confusion so read through the install guide before you start.
• How does the ST Series compare to the ISR GT or RC?
  The ST is the street-friendly option in ISR's Genesis Coupe lineup. It has both a resonator and a muffler so it stays reasonable on the highway with no drone. The GT goes louder with a more open design, and the RC is the most aggressive of the three. If you're daily driving or sharing a garage with neighbors, the ST is the one. If you want maximum noise, look at the RC or GT instead.
• Will this ship to California?
  Yes. This exhaust does not alter, remove or modify any emissions equipment.
• Does this work with the 2009 Genesis Coupe?
  Yes. ISR confirms fitment starting from the 2009 model year, which covers the earliest Genesis Coupes sold in the US. All 3.8L V6 BK1 and BK2 cars through 2016 are covered.

The ISR ST is the Genesis Coupe 3.8 exhaust you want if you drive this thing every day. It's got a resonator and a muffler so it stays civil at highway speeds, but you definitely hear it under acceleration. No rasp, no drone, just a clean deep V6 tone.

Important note if you have the 3.8 V6: the kit ships with a front pipe that's meant for the 2.0T version. Leave it in the box. On the V6 you use the Y-pipe to connect to your factory cats and that's it. Installing the front pipe on a V6 will cause fitment issues so read through the ISR install guide before you start.
