Product Description

The BOOST Products Competition Series gives fabricators a selection of universal front mount intercoolers for everything from compact street builds to four-digit-horsepower projects. Each version combines a lightweight tube-and-fin core with internal turbulators and a lamellar fin structure to balance cooling performance, airflow and response.

The cast-aluminum end tanks use 3mm-thick construction and each intercooler is tested to withstand 5 bar of pressure. Multiple core dimensions and connection diameters make it easier to select an intercooler around the available space, planned charge-pipe size and intended power level of your build.

Choosing the Correct Intercooler

• Start with the realistic horsepower goal for the finished build.
• Measure the width, height and depth available behind the bumper or grille.
• Account for the additional width of the end tanks, not only the advertised core dimensions.
• Match the inlet and outlet diameter to the planned charge-pipe size whenever possible.
• Confirm that the pipe route will clear the radiator, condenser, crash structure, bumper cover and surrounding components.
• Leave enough airflow behind the intercooler for the radiator and air-conditioning condenser.
