Product Description

The radiator is one of those swap parts people leave until late and then discover nothing quite fits. We built this one specifically for a K-series sitting in a 93-97 Del Sol, so the mounting lines up with your chassis and the ports line up with your engine. No brackets to fabricate, no adapters to chase, no hoses routed the long way around because the inlet ended up on the wrong side. It's dual-core, all-aluminum, and fully TIG welded, sized to fill the opening and do its job in a swapped car.

Ports Where Your K-Series Actually Wants Them

This is the part that makes a swap-specific radiator worth having. We positioned the coolant inlet and outlet to match where a K-series puts its connections in these chassis, so you're running short, direct hoses instead of long loops reaching across the bay. Shorter runs mean fewer bends, less coolant sitting in rubber, and fewer places for something to eventually let go. It also just looks right when you close the hood, which matters on a build you've put this much into.

We also integrated the ports for the coolant temperature sending unit and the fan switch directly into the radiator. That's two more things you don't have to solve with adapters or inserts, and two fewer parts to be waiting on when you're trying to finish the car.

Bolts To Your Factory Support Tabs

It mounts to the factory lower support tabs, so there's no cutting, no drilling, and no chassis modification to get it in. That's how a swap part should work. You're already doing enough custom work everywhere else in this build, and the cooling system shouldn't add to it.

Running AC? Grab The Half-Size Instead

Sort this out before you order, because it's a real fork. This full-size radiator isn't compatible with Hybrid Racing conversion AC kit. It fills the space the AC condenser needs, so the two can't coexist. If air conditioning is part of your plan, Hybrid Racing half-size K-swap radiator is the one you want, since it's sized to leave the condenser room to fit. Decide on AC first, then pick the radiator, and you'll only buy one.

Plan On Two Fans

One thing to budget for up front: we recommend running two high-speed ten-inch cooling fans with this radiator. A core this size needs real airflow to keep temps in check when you're sitting still or crawling through traffic, and a swapped engine bay doesn't get much natural airflow at low speed. Treat the fans as part of the radiator purchase rather than something to sort out later, and your cooling will be handled properly from the first startup.

Who Should Run This Radiator

This is for anyone building a K-swap in a 93-97 Del Sol who isn't running AC and wants the cooling side to just work. Street car, track car, or a build still coming together on jack stands, this drops into your chassis, connects to your K-series without creative plumbing, and gives you the capacity to keep temps where they belong.
