Product Description
Doing a K swap in your EG Civic, EK Civic, Del Sol, or DC2 Integra? You need a proper ground kit. The Hybrid Racing K swap ground kit eliminates the guesswork that comes with grounding a swapped engine. Factory harnesses aren't long enough for swapped applications, and bad grounds cause starting issues, ECU errors, rough idle, and misfires. This kit gives you the correct length wires and all the hardware to establish solid grounds without cutting, splicing, or making up your own lengths. Just bolt it in and move on.
Why Swaps Need a Ground Kit
K swaps move the engine forward and change the grounding points compared to where a B or D series sat. Factory ground wires aren't the right length anymore, and most people end up splicing extensions or running undersized wire to make up the difference. Poor grounds cause all kinds of electrical problems that are annoying to diagnose. The starter cranks slow, the ECU throws random codes, the engine runs rough, or accessories don't work right. This kit fixes all of that by giving you proper length grounds with the correct gauge wire and clean connections.
Designed for EG, EK, Del Sol, and DC2 Chassis
The kit's designed specifically for 1992-2000 Civic (EG/EK), 1993-1997 Del Sol, and 1994-2001 Integra (DC2) K swaps. The wire lengths and hardware are sized for the factory ground locations on these chassis. If you're installing it in a different chassis, it'll work but you'll need to identify your own ground locations since they won't match the EG/EK/Del Sol/DC2 spots.
