This intake is for 2014-2018 Silverado 1500 models with the 5.3L EcoTec3 L83 V8. It does not fit 4.3L V6 or 6.2L V8 models.

Product Description
The HPS 827 Series short ram intake replaces the restrictive factory intake on the 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 with a 3.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, reusable HPS air filter, and powder-coated heat shield. It is built for Silverado owners who want a more direct intake path, stronger induction sound, and a cleaner engine-bay appearance without needing a tune.
HPS reports dyno-proven gains of 13 wheel horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque for the 5.3L L83 V8. The heat shield helps separate the filter from under-hood heat, while reinforced silicone couplers and stainless T-bolt clamps complete the bolt-on installation.
Choose blue, polished, red, or black tubing to match the rest of the engine bay. The included HPS filter is washable and reusable, and the system can be serviced later with the HPS-4304 replacement filter.

Before You Buy
This intake is for the 5.3L EcoTec3 L83 V8 only and is not CARB compliant. It cannot be shipped to California and may not be legal for street use in other emissions-controlled areas. After installation, HPS recommends checking intake clearance and rechecking all clamps and connections periodically. Select the desired tube color before adding the kit to your cart.
